Sam The Concrete Man started in 1989 with Sam Wilkins, who had a passion for providing quality work and ensuring his customers got exactly what they wanted. Now, 30+ years later, we have expanded our concrete services to communities across the US. Meet Tim Bender

Tim is excited to serve the people of East St. Paul with concrete services. Tim decided to serve his community through concrete because he was fascinated with learning and art. The material is thousands of years old, but we are still learning about it. The history and chemistry intrigue Tim which is why he was drawn to joining Sam The Concrete Man. He also likes the aesthetic aspect of concrete that appeals to the artist in everyone. Tim has always had a fascination with all forms of science and wanted to know why and how things do what they do. This curiosity allowed Tim to be a successful engineer in both product/process R&D and manufacturing. Tim’s background will push him to succeed through innovation. 

Tim grew up in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, and has been in the area for over 50 years! A true local! Tim’s passion for learning and studying is still sprightly, he continues to learn something new in just about any subject! Tim is currently also working on nurturing his artistic side through photography. He aims to provide top-notch concrete while being genuine and true to his company.
